Several membranes of the Capitals team have been taking part in the first Telluride Research Center meeting on Complexity in the Chemistry and Physics of Lipid Membranes¬†4 – 8 July 2016. Colin Bain (Durham), John Seddon (Imperial) and Rob Walker (Montana State University) organised the meeting in Telluride, Colorado and were joined by Simon Connell (Leeds), Emma Talbot (Cambridge), Nick Brooks (Imperial),¬†Paul O’Shea (now University of British Columbia) and Peter Olmsted (now Georgetown) as well as colleagues from the USA, Canada, Europe and Japan.

The week saw a fantastic array of talks on all aspects of lipid membrane behaviour and a brilliant public lecture by Paul O’Shea.
